Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine, .44-40 caliber, excellent bright shiny bore, generally fine condition overall. 70-80% lustrous barrel blue- balance starting to turn to a blue plum patina. 98% lustrous magazine blue, 60% receiver blue- balance thinning to a plum blue patina. Generally smooth clean metal with a tiny spot of corrosion behind the hammer. Generally fine walnut with very few dings and surface scratches. Virtually all original varnish is intact. Correct sights include a flip-up ladder rear. Hard to find an 1892 SRC in .44-40 in this fine condition. Tight crisp action. Manufactured in 1916. Modern- FFL required.
